Most coated garage floors do not need complicated maintenance. Sweep or blow out abrasive grit, rinse away seasonal salt residue and clean spills before they are allowed to sit for a long time. The goal is to keep dirt from acting like sandpaper under tires, foot traffic or dragged equipment.

For routine cleaning, use a gentle, coating-appropriate cleaner and clean water according to the care directions you receive with the system. Avoid treating the finished surface like raw concrete. Harsh acids, aggressive solvents, very abrasive pads and random internet remedies can dull or damage a floor that would otherwise be easy to maintain.

Road salt is worth paying attention to in Windsor–Essex. When slush dries, it leaves abrasive residue behind. A soft squeegee, rinse or regular cleanup during winter is a small habit that protects the appearance of the floor and makes spring cleanup much easier.

If something unusual happens—an automotive fluid spill, a dropped tool that chips an edge, or a repair question—take a photo and reach out. Small issues are easier to assess early, and we would rather give you a practical answer than have you try an aggressive cleaner that creates a second problem.
