FLOOR CARE & PROJECT WARRANTY
A properly selected and prepared floor system is built for real life. These simple habits help protect the finish, while your project documents explain the system and warranty details specific to your floor.
Dry-dust, sweep, or use a soft broom to remove sand, salt, and debris before it is walked or driven across the floor.
For routine cleaning, use warm water and a pH-neutral cleaner made for coated floors. Follow the product label and rinse away cleaner residue.
Wipe up oil, automotive fluids, chemicals, and coloured spills promptly. If you are unsure about a product, ask before using a strong cleaner or solvent.
Road salt, slush, and wet tires are part of life here. Keep a floor squeegee or soft mop handy during the season, remove pooled water when practical, and sweep out salt grit often. A coated garage floor is easier to clean, but regular care helps preserve its appearance.
Avoid abrasive pads, wire brushes, harsh acid cleaners, and unapproved solvents. Do not drag sharp metal edges, heavy machinery, or rough pallets directly across the finish. Use soft pads under stored equipment or furniture where needed, and choose appropriate protection for welding, hot work, or unusually hard industrial use.
Garages, basements, showrooms, and commercial work areas do not have the same traffic or cleaning needs. The right care routine follows the floor system and the space. If the way you use the space changes, contact us before introducing a new chemical, heavy equipment, or cleaning routine.
WARRANTY QUESTIONS
Your project-specific warranty information is provided with the final system and scope. Keep those documents with your project records, and contact us if you need help locating them.
No. Coverage and care requirements depend on the system selected, the concrete condition, preparation and repair scope, and how the finished space is used. Your project documentation is the source of truth for your floor.
Take a few clear photos, note when you first noticed the issue, and avoid attempting an aggressive repair or chemical treatment. Send the details to us so we can discuss the appropriate next step.
